Have you ever walked through such a scenic small Japanese town before?🚶🌄
This wonderful historic urban architecture comes courtesy of Narai-juku in present-day Nagano Prefecture. The postal town is known as “Narai of a Thousand Houses,” which comes from the countless buildings that used to stretch along the Nakasendo Trail in the photo, back in its heyday. By walking the trail, visitors can experience authentic buildings built with local techniques for a taste of a bygone time.
