These lovingly restored traditional thatched-roof houses are found at Ouchi-juku, an ancient post town in Fukushima Prefecture. Visitors can step back in time to the Edo Period (between the 17th and 19th centuries), and appreciate the simple elegance and uniformity of the buildings.
