The Japan men’s wheelchair rugby team stayed on top of their group Thursday with a 60-51 victory of Denmark, giving them their second win of the Paralympic Games.
While ordinary fans have been banned from attending most of the Paralympic events, the main exception to the rule could be seen in the venue’s seating areas, with local school children bearing placards with Japan’s flag on one side and Denmark’s on the other.
What was today’s lesson, class? Life can be rough and tumble, but with hard work and determination, you can do anything.
