The Tokyo Summer Paralympic Games kick off from today!

In Japan and particularly in Greater Tokyo, you’ll find wheel-chair accessible buses and taxis, as well as train and subway stations.

For example, the Emeraldas cruise ship (pictured) features wheelchair seating, priority boarding and accessible toilets. This futuristic spaceship-inspired boat takes you between Asakusa and Odaiba* in no time at all, offering a completely different perspective of Tokyo. 🛥️✨

We’re working on a range of initiatives to further improve inclusivity and accessibility for our diverse visitors, to be better prepared to welcome you when we can all travel safely again.

Please note: The Emeraldas route has temporarily changed from Asakusa to Odaiba to Asakusa to Toyosu until 19 September.
