Now this is what we call a night light! 🏮 Although the pandemic put a hold on this year’s Noshiro Tanabata Festival, this event remains a much-loved summer favourite and will hopefully make a return next year. Held in Noshiro City in Akita Prefecture, the festival is dubbed ‘Lantern Castle in the Sky’ thanks to the towering castle floats, pulled down the main street by teams of locals. 🏰
