Well this sculpture is dino-mite! This Jurassic fella can be found in Katsuyama City in Fukui Prefecture, a region known as one of the most prominent areas for dinosaur discoveries in the country. The city has dinosaur themed sculptures dotted throughout its streets and surrounds (pictured: the White Saurus) so you’re sure to find an extinct pal to snap a pic with.
TOP TIP: Visit the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum when you’re in town. The museum is the centre of dinosaur research in Japan and one of the world’s leading dinosaur museums. It’s the place to be for all the dinosaur fans out there! 🦖🦕
