Today the #OlympicTorchRelay visited the town of Kitsuki, and we travelled back in time to know what life was like for samurai.

✅ Obaachan’s and ojiisan’s give a wave 👵👴
This afternoon in Usa City as the Olympic flame made its way to the final destination of Usa Jinja – one of Kyushu’s most prominent shrines – a group of obaachan’s and ojiisan’s (grandma and grandpa in Japanese) along with their carers waved and cheered on the torchbearer.
