TANAKA Tamaki got the chance to hold the Olympic torch again, 26 years after being a torchbearer for the Atlanta 1996 Games. Now she’s carrying this torch not only for her hometown but for Japan as it hosts its second Summer Games in history.
Tamaki’s love for everything Olympics is evident as she has also been a support runner for the Nagano 1998 Winter Olympics! Now as a mother of four, she proudly carried the torch today for her children and others to show them her deep connection with the Games. ✨
