We did the grueling hike to the Fugendake Summit (普賢岳) in Unzen, Nagasaki (長崎県雲仙市), where we were treated to a very nice view of the highest peak in the area, Heisei Shinzan (平成新山.) We started by taking the Unzen Ropeway, which starts at the Nita Pass (仁田峠 – Nita Tōge), then from there we did the trek to Fugendake.
