These photos were taken as we travelled around Fukuoka prefecture, Oita, Kumamoto, Saga prefecture and Nagasaki. You can see some of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots and also lots off the beaten track. We’ll be visiting the best ones on our tour in spring 2022.
By the way, if you are still wondering, ‘sakura’ is just the Japanese word for cherry blossom.
