Whilst most people will be familiar with cherry blossoms, plum blossoms are just as special! 😍 Plum trees generally bloom between mid-February to late March and the spectacle often attracts fewer visitors than sakura season, making it a great time to visit if you want the beauty without the crowds.
📍The annual Suzuka Forest Garden Weeping Plum Blossom Festival (pictured), is one such place to enjoy the blooms of around 200 weeping plum trees. The annual festival runs from the latter half of February late until late March in Suzuka, a city in northern Mie Prefecture.
