The best ramen I’ve ever eaten!
I heard about this place from YouTube before and I wanted to stop by. I had no idea what I was doing and figured this is now or never. There was a line in the cold morning of course, so I queued up as well. Once I entered, I immediately figured out that I knew nothing. I didn’t know what to do. Fortunately, a couple in front of me was able to speak English and help me order the special! Highly recommended. It is such tight quarters and ramen is known to be a “fast food” type of meal. In, and then out. So, we are all lined up directly behind eating customers, seen in this film here! My God, when they called me to sit down, I was happy. I believe I had to tell them that I was one person and give them my ticket/receipt, so that they can prepare the correct meal. They gave a cup for cold water and they had pitchers for self pouring! There were some garnishes and many people slurping! Yum. My goodness was the food was beyond phenomenal! The noodles were thick and was perfectly chewy, with a broth so rich. Oh and they had an egg and a perfect egg to boot!!! Eggs are a must with ramen for me! I’m no Japanese Culture Expert, but I believe you could always request more noodles with a quick “Sumimasen, Kae-dama!” followed by the firmness of your noodles. Also, correct me if I am wrong, but some ramen shops will give you more broth or hot water for your soup if you run out. Overall, amazing and my favorite in all of world! It was fantastc in the chilly weather as well! Please stop by for this inviting and delicious establishment!

On January 5th, I flew to Haneda Airport (HND; Tokyo, Japan) from Palm Beach International Airport (PBI; Florida, USA). I stayed at Book and Bed Tokyo in Shinjuku for 5 nights. My main mode of transportation were my Reboks and rail/metro.
