This is a short slideshow clip and one of my several videos of my traveling in Japan as I have been to the island several times. In this video, it featured my visit to Yokohama.

Yokohama, is 2nd largest city in Japan by population and the most populous municipality of Japan. It is the capital city of Kanagawa Prefecture, south of Tokyo. It was one of the first Japanese ports opened to foreign trade in 1859. It has a large Chinatown with hundreds of Chinese restaurants and shops. It is also well-known for Sankei-en Garden, a botanical park containing preserved Japanese residences from different eras, and the seaside Minato Mirai district, site of the 296m Landmark Tower.

In this leg of my day trip, I walked around the Chinatown and Motomachi here after taking a subway here from Shinjuku station. There were many shops and restaurants and offered a blend of Chinese and Japanese culture.
I also went to the Yokohama waterfront, the Osanbashi Pier before returning to Tokyo where I stopped by Ginza to shop around.

Do stay tune to more of my videos in Japan and the rest of the world as I “walk-around the world”!
