The impressive Oarai Isosaki-jinja Shrine stands directly facing the Pacific Ocean, where waves crash into its base. 🌊⛩️ Located in Ibaraki Prefecture, the torii gate pictured is called ‘Kamiiso-no-Torii’.
💡 TIP: Due to its easterly position, the best time to photograph the shrine is at sunrise. As the sun appears on the horizon, the gate is bathed in sunlight. 🌅
