Himeji Castle – First Time Solo Japan Travel Vlog by foreigner * Part 8 * No Talking *

This video captures my travel experiences in Japan from a few years ago. You will see/get to know about:

* Short recap of previous episode
* The interior of the castle was mostly made of wood
* There were storage spaces for weapons & ammunition
* This has been used to prevent those that climb the castle’s walls – Name’s Ishiotoshi
* Secret doors were found in unexpected places
* Let’s explore the top floor of the castle
* There was a fish like structure on the roof of the castle – Every japanese era seems to have a different structure
* In the distance is Himeji city!
* Before heading down, let’s have a look at the ancient model of Himeji city
* The smaller stones are called as ‘Ubagaishi’. These seem to have been offered by an old woman living at the time
* There is also an ancient well named ‘Okiku’
* Before leaving, let’s have a look at the castle one more time
* Next video in 3 days
