Check out the beautifully yellow-dyed Oyama Senmaida Terraced Rice Fields in Chiba Prefecture, unique to late September right before they go into harvest. Currently, the fields are maintained by what is called an “owner system,” which works to contribute towards local revitalization by allowing people to adopt a small plot of land and try their hand at farming. Local farmers teach you every step of the way so there’s no need to worry!
Thank you to @boso_yanpon for showcasing the fields at such a stunning time!
