Kujuku Island is a group of islands scattered across 25 km (15.5 miles), and is said to have the highest density in Japan. “Kujuku-shima” translates to ninety-nine islands, however, in 2001 it was confirmed that there are 208 islands in total that make up the Kujuku Islands.
