“Momijigari” is a Japanese tradition, it’s what you call when you went to see autumn leaves in Japan.
Within Tokyo we visited:
-Tokyo Metropolitan Government
*free admission obervatory deck
-Shinjuku City
-Shibuya Crossing
-Omotesando
-Akagi Shrine
-Meiji Jingu, Meiji Shrine, Forrest Terrace
*this place is so wide, explore it!
-Harajuku Takeshita Street (Food and Fashion District)
*try their photo sticker booths called “Purikura”
they even got mirrors and basic beauty needs like flat/curling iron free of use!
-Asakusa Taito City
-Asakusa Shrine, Sensoji Temple, Dempoin Street
*must see! lots of shops too, perfect to see day and night without the crowds
*Visit the Tokyo Plaza, they have this grand entrance with lots mirrors.
-Ghibli Museum
-Yoyogi Park
(lots of other parks)
-Kamakura
-Rikugien Garden
Outside Tokyo:
(get JR unli pass for specifc number of days at tourist centers)
-Fujisan
-Enoshima
*Enoshima Sea Candle (perfect time to visit: near sunset to night)
-Kamakura
-Kusatsu Onsen
*Kusatsu Hotel lets you experience real Traditional Japanese inn called “Ryokan”
-Karuizawa
-Old Karuizawa Ginza Street
*it’s best to rent a bike to roam around.
