A look at the tranquil grounds of the Byodo-in Temple, Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii.
The Byodo-In Temple on Oahu is a replica of a 900-year-old Buddhist Temple in Kyoto, Japan. The setting on Oahu in the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park with the Ko’olau mountains in the background is spectacular. The Temple is open to everyone and, though I am not a Buddhist, I appreciated its beauty and thoroughly enjoyed my visit.
This place is full of life and flowing streams of koi fish and a 20 foot tall golden buddha which sits at the center of the Temple. If you are looking to have a place to meditate,come here and fully engage yourself in peace and tranquility.
