The next stop along our journey through Japan takes us further south from Tokyo and Hakone to the beautiful resort town of Atami.
Here we catch up with Akane’s Aunt and explore the town – including the awesome Atami Sun Beach – a man made beach spanning about 400 meters long. Each evening the town has fireworks, and we stayed on the beach to get ready for them, but ended up getting a semi-private show on the very top of a business in town. Amazing.
During our stay in Atami, we stayed at Atami Guest Boyoso, a hostel at the top of the hill. It was a nice location close to town.
