Keen to meet the famous bowing deer of Nara Park? 😀 Historically considered a sacred animal in Japan, the deer have lived freely alongside humans in the ancient Japanese city of Nara for centuries. Over time the deer have learned to bow to visitors – a sign they’re asking to be fed. For around 150 yen, (approx $2,) visitors can buy special deer crackers to hand-feed these beautiful and free-roaming creatures. Photo by @missmary_n #VisitJapanAU
