2 CRUISE SHIPS IN QUARANTINE WITH OVER 5400 PASSENGERS AND CREW IN JAPAN AND HONG KONG 2 cruise ships are now in quarantine with over 5400 passengers and crew on board. The Diamond Princess is now sailing off of the coast of Japan with over 3600 passengers and crew under a 14 day quarantine period. All passengers are restricted to their cabins and all meals are being delivered to them by the crew. The World Dream cruise ship is now in Hong Kong under mandatory quarantine as 30 crew members have been reported as ill and former passengers from the Chinese mainland have been hospitalized. Hong Kong health officials will be determining how long the ship must remain under quarantine.
