► The Komachi E6 Shinkansen (AKA Akita Shinkansen) started service between Tokyo and Akita in March 2014. It runs at a top speed of 320 km/h (200mph).
In terms of design, it’s one of the most beautiful of the Shinkansen trains IMO.
All cars has a 2+2 seating (unlike the Tokaido Shinkansen which has a 2+3 seating) which basically means you’ll have an even more comfy ride on this one.
