Miyazaki, Japan – World's Tallest Palm Trees?

I was in Japan in March – April and in general the weather was cool. That all changed in “tropical” Miyazaki. What a delight. Join me as I spend a day in this delightful city.
Miyazaki is the capital city of Miyazaki Prefecture on the island of Kyushu. Located on the coast and crossed by several rivers, Miyazaki City enjoys scenic views of both ocean and nearby, verdant mountains. A popular resort destination for mostly Japanese tourists. The city has an estimated population of 367,000.
