The manga series Kagurabachi by Takeru Hokazono has exceeded a total circulation of 2.2 million copies, including both print and digital editions. The milestone will be officially reached with the release of Volume 7 on May 2, according to an announcement by its publisher Shueisha.

The series celebrated 1.3 million copies with a Volume 5 trailer in December last year, and it was also reported to be getting an anime adaptation by Cygames Pictures.

To commemorate this achievement, a special poster campaign began today, April 28, in Tokyo’s Shibuya district. The campaign features 56 unique posters, each one representing a different chapter from the first 56 chapters of the series. The posters will remain on display throughout Shibuya until May 4, providing fans with a visual journey through the manga’s story so far. You can see some of the posters below:

In addition to the poster display, a Kagurabachi pop-up shop selling exclusive merchandise has been scheduled. The shop will open first at Shibuya Modi in Tokyo on June 20. It will then move to Kobe Marui in Hyogo Prefecture starting July 18, followed by Hakata Marui in Fukuoka Prefecture beginning August 8.

Kagurabachi by Takeru Hokazono has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since September 2023, with six volumes released so far. As mentioned above, Volume 7 is set to release on May 2, 2025. The manga won the Next Manga Award 2024 in the Print Category.
