Tokyo, Japan, March 17, 2025 – JTB Corp. will open a new nighttime entertainment, the OSAKA VARIETY ACT SHOW on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at GIRAFFE Japan on the 5th floor of the Nakaza Kidaore Building in Dotonbori, Osaka. The show is aimed at foreign visitors to Japan, who are expected to increase in number in conjunction with Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan and the opening of the Osaka IR in 2030.
■ Background of Service Launch
The number of foreign visitors to Osaka is expected to increase further with Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan and the opening of Osaka IR in 2030. While there are many restaurants in the Dotonbori area and visitor satisfaction is high, the number of entertainment facilities and tourist content that travelers can enjoy in the area is limited and needs to be further improved. Therefore, we aim to increase the amounts of time and value spent in the area by developing attractive new entertainment content and providing foreign visitors to Japan with new ways to enjoy the night time.
■ Service Overview
This service is an entertainment show where a variety of performers and artists with unique talents gather to offer a rich variety of acts to be enjoyed alongside alcoholic beverages. Under the overall planning and direction of Kenichi Ebina, aka “EBIKEN” (the first Japanese winner of America’s Got Talent), a performer who is also active overseas, this service will provide entertainment that will create new interaction and nightlife for tourists who gather in Dotonbori, Osaka from around the world.

One of Japan’s leading dancers and choreographers. He has a diverse range of dance styles and has won numerous awards at dance events and competitions in Japan and abroad, making him an influential figure in the dance world. His performances are characterized by an appealing combination of power and delicacy.
■ Main Performance Content (tentative)
・Vocal and instrumental musical performances
・Dynamic stage performances such as dance, circus acts, street performance, and comedy
・Performance shows such as magic, ventriloquism, chemical experiments, technology, art stage, etc.
・A variety of other programs will be offered. A different performance will be held every day, making the stage an enjoyable place to visit any time of the year

Price: Admission (1Drink) 4,000 yen and up (May vary by plan)
For the time being, admission (1Drink) starts at 1,000 yen

■ About the Pre-event
From March 19 (Wed.) to 26 (Wed.)
The pre-event will be held at PivotBASE on the 1st floor of the Nakaza Kidaore Building from March 19 (Wed.) to 26 (Wed.). This pre-event will feature a variety of shows by selected performers from the OSAKA VARIETY ACT SHOW. (Closed on March 25)

■ GIRAFFE Japan” on the 5th floor of Nakaza Kuidaore Building
With the renovation of the Nakaza Kuidaore Building on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, the 5th floor will open as the venue for GIRAFFE Japan, a new entertainment space that offers new experiences combining cutting-edge technology with the heritage of Japanese history and culture. The space will transform into three different concepts at different times of the day, offering new discoveries and surprises with every visit.
