The long and storied legacy of Japan-exclusive Nike Dunks is adding another page for the model’s 40th anniversary. atmos Creative Director Hirofumi Kojima has teased a Nike Dunk Low QS “Tokyo” set to release in 2025.
If only by color, it appears the sneaker alludes to the grail-tier Nike SB Dunk Low “Tokyo” from 2004 (shown on the left). The 2025 “Tokyo” Dunk opts features similar colors but drastically different materials. While we only have the one image to go off, a pony hair Swoosh and ostrich leather heel immediately catch the eye. The collar and backtab, meanwhile, tie in with the 2004 grail with canvas material.
Kojima includes the quickstrike convention in his teaser image post, meaning limited quantities could shock drop at any given time. As mentioned, the sneaker is exclusive to Japan. We’ll update this article if we get any more updates/images.
