My First Time on Japan’s Bullet Train 🚄 | The Shinkansen from Osaka to Tokyo!
Hi everyone! 👋
In this video, I embark on the ultimate train journey for many rail lovers — Japan’s legendary bullet train! Specifically, I ride the Shinkansen from Osaka to Tokyo, connecting two of Japan’s most iconic cities in style and speed. 🇯🇵🚄
Join me as I document my experience before, during, and after the ride — from busy stations and packed platforms to breathtaking scenery, including a magical glimpse of Mount Fuji along the way.
📍 The vlog begins outside Osaka Station, as I make my way to Shin-Osaka Station — just one stop away on the local JR line. It’s a national holiday, and the crowds are no joke — a true reminder of how popular the Shinkansen is, especially during peak travel days.
With time to spare before my departure, I explore Shin-Osaka Station, grab a coffee and some snacks from 7-Eleven, and soak in the atmosphere before heading through the ticket gates.
When it’s finally time to board, I head to the platform early and share some cool facts about the Shinkansen’s sleek design — including its inspiration from the kingfisher bird for quieter, more aerodynamic travel.
🛤️ Once on board, I give you a quick tour of the carriage and seat features. As we depart, I capture gorgeous scenes of the passing landscape, cityscapes, and station stops — with the highlight being a stunning view of Mount Fuji, Japan’s most famous symbol.
The journey wraps up at bustling Tokyo Station, where I navigate through a wave of travelers before stepping outside to reflect on the incredible experience.
If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to ride Japan’s bullet train — or are dreaming of your own future trip — this vlog is for you. ✨

incorrect, the proper toilet is for both men and women
Wow super! so fast.
Baie dankie broer Willie.
Haha! Mt. Fuji is asemrowend mooi! Baie presies inderdaad haha! Mooi loop Willie!
Hi Willie I really enjoyed your video of the bullet train. I couldn't believe how fast it goes! Spectacular view of Mount Fuji! The vending machines have a large selection. Well done😊
Hi Willie, oh wow, fantasties!! Dankie, groetnis.
Willie dis ikoniese trip! Dankie vir die goeie video!
Willie Nice video Fella Regards of Argentina.
Great raw, pure content. It felt like I was there with you in the stations and on the train. This is such great insight into the rail infrastructure of Japan. Loved seeing a bit of the countryside from the train too.
Very impressive train indeed. I sat inside the 1960's bullet train at the railway museum in York, amazing to see it up close. The station did look like an airport, very modern.
Hello from Sweden. I went to Tokyo a few years ago. The taxi from the airport to the city center was about the same as the flight ticket from Sweden to Tokyo.
Daai mineraal water se prys is glad nie sleg nie! In Hong Kong sal jy dubbeld daai prys betaal! Lekker uitsig op daai berg oppad Tokyo toe! Was jy al binne in "The Museum of Maritime Science" in Tokyo? Toe ek in 1998 daar was kon mens binne in afneem.
Great tour. Thanks Willie
I was there with you! Lovely and interesting. I'm sure there must be a nb 2 toilet for men!!! 😅
The train and the journey were truly amazing. Once again, it shows just how efficiently a country and its services can be run. I'm ashamed to say that in this country, we seem to be moving from third-world status to perhaps fourth—or even worse. I really appreciate the way you present your videos. Weereens, baie dankie. Ek lief daai trein.
Hi Willie what an amazing journey you had on the bullet train at such a reasonable price for what you get with your pound conversion. The Japanese people who wear a lot of black. I wonder why they prefer it to colour as everything else has many colours in their many pics and signage
Hey Willie how are you the train journey was awesome Japan is 20 years ahead from the rest of the world the scenery was spectacular. Keep up the good work man 🔥🔥👍👍
I had a lovely day thanks to you it was a fun video to watch the station It was one of a kind and the bullet train 🚅
I wish one day I'll have the chance to see it in real
Daai mineraal water se prys is glad nie sleg nie! In Hong Kong sal jy dubbeld soveel betaal! Lekker uitsig op Mt. Fuji oppad Tokyo toe! Was jy al binne in "The Museum of Maritime Science" in Tokyo? Toe ek in 1998 daar was kon mens binne in afneem.
