One of Vietnam’s most in-demand DJs, Anh Vy—known for his standout Boiler Room set and residencies at The Observatory in Ho Chi Minh and Unmute in Hanoi—lands in Tokyo for the first time. Praised for his versatility behind the decks—moving effortlessly between rare disco, deep house and darker shades of techno, Anh Vy has become a fixture in Southeast Asia’s top underground venues, and now he’s bringing that same energy to Shimokitazawa.
The night is curated by Tomato Juice System, the Tokyo-based DJ and art collective led by Jun Taomo, known for organizing multisensory events blending club culture with culinary and visual art pop-ups. Jun will also hit the decks alongside a lineup of local selectors.
The venue Ruang Cing is a Thai restaurant by day and music bar by night, tucked into the backstreets of Shimokita. Think intimate vibes, serious sound and no boundaries between scenes.
