Waldorf Astoria has just made its Japan debut with the opening of Waldorf Astoria Osaka, a hotel occupying the top floors the city’s South Park Tower of Grand Green Osaka, part of the Umekita District.
Waldorf Astoria Osaka features 252 rooms and suites, including the expansive presidential and penthouse suites, four eateries, event and wellness spaces, family programming, and 24-hour in-room dining.

The luxury brand, owned by Hilton, is expected to double its portfolio in the Asia Pacific region over the next two years, said Alan Watts, Hilton’s president for Asia Pacific.
“Japan is unquestionably one of the world’s most compelling and sophisticated destinations,” Watts said. “As Hilton celebrates more than 60 years of legacy in this remarkable country, we are proud to debut our iconic Waldorf Astoria brand in Osaka and elevate the benchmark of luxury in this cosmopolitan city.”
