To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the debut of Kyoto Jazz Massive, Japan’s world-renowned DJ and artist brother duo, KJM are releasing a compilation album of songs they’ve covered throughout the years.
The album features the voices of KJM, Vanessa Freeman and Bembe Segue and includes a new cover of Medina & Mensah’s ‘Kowree Sambazzi’. Also on the track list is alongside many other classic KJM tunes that have kept audiences on dance floors worldwide!
In recent years Kyoto Jazz Massive have been recording and releasing original music so for their 30th anniversary they wanted to compile a collection of songs they have covered, including the tunes they have produced and remixed, as a nostalgic journey through their careers. Kyoto Jazz Massive, who play jazz, funk, fusion, boogie, Brazilian as DJs dedicate this collection of covers to the legends who have influenced them.
