Hilton debuts Waldorf Astoria Osaka, introducing the brand’s first Japanese property amid growing demand for luxury hospitality in Asia.

OSAKA, JAPAN – Hilton has announced the official opening of Waldorf Astoria Osaka, marking the debut of the Waldorf Astoria brand in Japan. Strategically timed with the upcoming Osaka-Kansai Expo and the annual sakura season, the property adds a new chapter to Hilton’s luxury expansion in the Asia Pacific region.

Located in the heart of Osaka, the new hotel is designed by architect André Fu, known for his ability to blend cultural narratives with contemporary form. The Waldorf Astoria Osaka is positioned as a reinterpretation of the brand’s signature residential style, bringing together Eastern influences and Art Deco aesthetics in a nod to the brand’s New York origins.

Among the highlights are four dining venues: Peacock Alley, the signature bar and lounge; Jolie, a modern French brasserie; Canes & Tales, a cocktail bar; and Tsukimi, a Japanese restaurant offering regionally inspired cuisine.

Guest services include a dedicated Personal Concierge for tailored travel experiences and stay management, as well as a curated wellness offering. The spa integrates Japanese healing traditions, with treatments designed for relaxation and recovery, alongside facilities such as an indoor pool and thermal baths.

For events and meetings, Waldorf Astoria Osaka includes venues suitable for both private functions and larger gatherings. A chapel within the hotel provides a setting for intimate ceremonies, supported by an events team trained in high-level service standards.
