Hokkaido returns to the playoff zone, thanks to the heart and effectiveness of its Bolognese boys, who confirm their ability to step up in crucial moments: of matches and of the season.
In Monticelli, Bologna had the opportunity to overtake Villadoro in second place: captain Ronchi and Bernardis did not let it slip away, with the contribution of Ricci Maccarini. Bologna is an almost perfect machine, in which everyone brings their brick. Above all, it demonstrates the ability to play together when it counts, without ever breaking up in the final point-to-point, despite the fact that it is the second youngest team in the men’s B series volleyball championship.
The rossoblù never cease to amaze: on the field of Ongina Canottieri comes the fourth consecutive victory of coach Guarnieri’s team, which marries with the contemporary defeat of Villadoro. It ends 3-0 for Bologna and the Modena team loses with the same score on the field of Dual Caselle: overtaking operation completed after a long chase, it is second place that is worth the playoffs with six days to go of the regular season with a one point advantage over the opponents, in view of the last three days that will propose direct clashes with Scanzorosciate, Villadoro and Mirandola.
It is forbidden to take your foot off the accelerator, but Bologna has no intention of doing so and it shows: it takes off at the start of the three partials, with Ricci Maccarini and Bernardis, it is caught up in the finals, when captain Ronchi never misses a ball that counts, and where Bigozzi and Reccavallo prove to be credible in attack at the center, supported by a reception that works. Hokkaido does not give up: it is once again in the playoff zone, fighting for the Serie A.
