RENARD BLEU is a French restaurant that was established in 2007 in the Karasuma area, moved to Kita-ku, and then returned to the city. The name of the restaurant, which means “blue fox,” was named after a children’s story that Mr. and Mrs. Taniguchi, the owner, love. When you open the bright red door, you are greeted by shelves lined with picture books, and the bright atmosphere of the restaurant, even though it is located in the basement, will make you feel at home.
