In 2021 I opened a spotify playlist where I started adding only japanese songs and I would have never thought that it would have reached something like almost 53 hrs of songs. I really appreciate how much jpop is becoming popular in last years (also thanks to anime boom after covid), even with so many songs production, like Ado that is not used only for animes but also in things like commercials (see the one with Georgia Coffee/Marubeni/Mcdonald's…). Even others singers like yoasobi collab with playstation. We have to say thank you even to companies like The first take on youtube or to hololive that transfers from gaming to jpop production. What do you think about the jpop diffusion outside Japan in last years?

Thanks, let me check it out as was looking to make a list
Really cool that it became more popular, I listen to Japanese since around 2016, my playlist is 89 hours long but I don’t listen to most of the artists that are popular overseas. I hope I can go to a concert soon.
