Hokkaido always holds a very special place in 2quiet.observers’ heart. Even though we visited Hokkaido many times, this was indeed a first road, ferry and camping trip across 3000 kilometres from Kanto region all the way to the most mysterious Shiretoko Peninsula Island, the eastmost part of Hokkaido. We got up at 2am on 11th August 2024 and super excited to drive all the way to the northmost town in the mainland Japan for catching a ferry crossing to Hokkaido.
