Beneath the soft gray skies of Belgium, hidden behind walls of ivy and creeping vines, stands a farmhouse built in 1875—crafted by the hands of a family’s early generation.
A fortress of rural life is now surrendered to time.
Although scarred by a fierce and unforgiving fire, its bones have remained. Charred timbers and blackened stone still cradle the memories sealed within.
Here, Cecilia and Eugene once lived— a modest couple bound to the land. Eugene, a soldier of the Second World War, returned to this very soil after surviving the shadows of conflict. Beside him, is Cecilia, the caretaker of home and heart, nurturing both family and faith.
But in 2010, the warmth ebbed away, and ever since, the barns stand empty, and the pages of their story lie scattered across hollow rooms.
As the walls crumble and nature reclaims what was once hers, we step inside this fading relic… to gather the fragments of a life left behind, before it vanishes forever.

Hello Maureno and Remon congrats on releasing the pigeon you did a great job. This home was despite the decay was filled with many precious treasures. Amazing work as always.
I love watching Remon be goofy! The flower panels when first entering the home are beautiful artwork. The thing you picked up in the bathroom was actually a bedpan for men to urinate in not a vaporizer. A coat of arms does not necessarily denote nobility. All my familial names have a coat of arms and I am not nobility by any stretch of the imagination. Crazy cobwebs is an understatement. 🤣 Exactly how tall are you? It looked like you were going to bang your head on some of the doorways and the basement ceiling. Thank you for another great exploration. Cheers. ❤
Thanks!
Hallo! Maureno 🎉 excellent video. House had vintage furniture and items like old photos and china made in your home town. Do they still make it?
❤ Bravo 👏

THANK YOU FOR SHARING SUCH BEAUTIFUL, AND EQUALY SAD PLACE, SORRY I MISSED YOU GUYS
Which is the video when one big pig trying to follow you inside of the place?
Hello Maureno and Ramon,This is a nice home to explore. I do believe that when you looked at the x-ray. I'm not sure if you saw a date on it but I think it's Mr.Eugene that had cancer and that's what you were seeing in the x-rays of the bowel or stomach and maybe that's how he passed.😢 I do agree that all those pictures that you've seen of the couple over and over were of them on wedding picture. It's sad to see a home and all the belongings left behind like that.😢 Some of it might have been worth something. But just the memories alone And the artifacts are hard to see. But I like to thank you guys very much. Thanks again
This was amazing! I feel the same as you about the photographs! So much history will be gone. Thank you for an amazing explore ❤
This place was for sale for a couple of years but then in June 2019 there was a huge fire. Most damage was done by the water used to control the fire.
5:05 Hi Mo! Just wanted to fill in a potential blank… The numbered beams, are likely for rebuilding and reconstruction so they can get things right back in order.
I think what you called paper clips are women's hair pins (bobbie pins). Thank you for another great video!
Wonderful and fun video!!! Sometimes I think people that do urbex videos forget to have a little fun with it.❤
