What to do on the Last Day in Mt. Fuji? Visiting Oshino Hakkai village, trying Houtou Fudou and more

[DAY 8 IN JAPAN]

It’s our last day in Mount Fuji, and it’s time to move on to our next destination. But before we leave, there’s still plenty to check off our itinerary!

We started the day by heading to Oshino Hakkai, an ancient village where we got a glimpse into traditional Japan. We tried a variety of local snacks—everything from succulent beef skewers to soft and sweet mochi, and each bite was as delicious as the last.

Next, we made our way to Houtou Fudou, where we marveled at the unique igloo-shaped architecture. Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying their signature udon, which was absolutely amazing.

Afterwards, we drove a long way to Hakuba, with a quick stop in Matsumoto town to grab some food as it was getting dark. We finally checked into our Marriott Hakuba pretty late, which is why this vlog is a little shorter than usual. But don’t worry—stay tuned for the next one where we’ll share all the highlights of our Hakuba adventure!
