Staying in a ryokan in Kyoto is one of the most unique and authentic Japanese experiences, and for our first time, we wanted to do it right. So we checked into this traditional Japanese inn tucked away in the mountains just outside the city. It was worth every penny!
We e got a private onsen, 2 kaiseki-style meals, and the most unique sleeping arrangements we’ve ever had. If you’re wondering what it’s like to stay in a ryokan or if it’s worth it for first-timers, this video has all the answers.

Ryokans are the best! Especially with a private onsen. We found one in Hakone that had a view of Mount Fuji a few years ago. This one in Kyoto looks great! Did they have an option for dinner in a dining room, or only in the room! Looked delicious.
観光地だけじゃなくて、こういう癒される場所も経験してもらえてよかった。また来てくださいね。
I like how he saw the socks and said "Nope not for me".🤣🤣
Kyoto is the best of Japan. My 2nd most favorite city behind Mardid.
