DYING RESORT | NATIONAL TREASURE CASTLE | JAPANESE SOUL FOOD&SNOW

February 2025
In search of snowy and nostalgic landscapes, I traveled by car from Nagano Prefecture to Toyama Prefecture.
This time, focusing on Matsumoto City in Nagano Prefecture, we will introduce you to the present-day hot spring resort town that once flourished, a national treasure castle, and local delicacies in Nagano Prefecture.

  1. Seeing the Japanese grow old and not make new Japanese people and seeing the population shrink so quickly really saddens me. I want to retire to Japan, but I don't think bringing foreigners in to boost the population is the answer. Japanese need to make more babies, it's as simple as that. What kind of car do you have? Was that silver Daihatsu your car? I love Japanese cars that we can't get in US. I drive a Lexus because Toyota has it's corporate US headquarters in my city, so I want to support our local company. By the way, great video, it was relaxing and healing. The chicken looked super duper oishii!

  2. We live in Hata and recently discovered the Asama Onsen area. So many of the stores are really cool old places. I took pictures of the same places you did! Hopefully, people will realize there are more places than Tokyo and Kyoto to enjoy in Japan. Thank you for another nice video!
