⁴ᴷ Nagasaki: Nagasaki Station (長崎県: 長崎駅) – Japan Walking Tour (February, 2025)
Since it’s getting cold and I’m determined to cover filming locations in every prefecture, I’m heading to Kyushu—the only region remaining. I took a ferry from Yokosuka Port and arrived at Shin-Koji Port in Kitakyushu, then toured Kyushu in a clockwise direction.
I’ve traveled from Sasebo to the area in front of Nagasaki Station. During my last visit, it was before the opening of the Shinkansen, and the station area was still under construction, giving it a rather cluttered feel. Now, redevelopment has progressed significantly—it looks completely different.
For this filming, I walked from the station to the city center, covering *Hamanomachi Arcade* and the *Shianbashi* area before making my way back. On the way there, I got a bit lost and ended up walking through some dimly lit streets. The nightlife district around *Shianbashi* is still the same, with narrow alleys extending in all directions, giving it a maze-like feel.
