A Day in Nagoya for the First Time – What to See & Do! Japan VLOG

We kicked off our Japan adventure with a red-eye flight from Singapore to Nagoya, arriving early in the morning at Chubu Centrair Airport. After breezing through immigration and freshening up, we hopped on the express train to Nagoya Station, using our Suica card for convenience. Our first meal? A delicious pork loin cutlet set with miso sauce—highly recommended! 🍱 After lunch, we grabbed the Me~guru Nagoya Sightseeing Bus Pass and began exploring. First stop: Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology, where we learned about Toyota’s origins in the textile industry before moving on to their automobile innovations. 🚗💡

Continuing our tour, we visited Nagoya Castle, though the main keep was under renovation. Instead, we explored the beautifully restored Hommaru Palace, a masterpiece of Edo-period architecture. As the sun set, we made our way to Mirai Tower and Oasis 21, snapping photos before heading to Osu Kannon Temple and its lively shopping street. 🏯🛍️ After some late-night sneaker shopping and a comforting bowl of Ippudo ramen, we wrapped up the day back at Nagoya Station, preparing for tomorrow’s adventure to Nagano and the Snow Monkeys! ❄️🐵 Stay tuned!
