    I would rather have the Karage separate. Japanese curry is so rich already. It doesn’t need a fatty piece of deep fried dark meat chicken. There’s a reason they use lean pork for tonkatsu curry.

    During our time in Kyoto we stumbled upon George’s Fried Chicken curry. It took 10mins between ordering and eating. I would recommend and look forrward to coming back one day
