We’ll tour the beautifully renovated Ohana, a historic gem I’ve had the pleasure of staying at, admire the stunning Hina doll displays and colorful Sagemon decorations, and take a leisurely stroll through the town’s picturesque streets. 2. Hina Doll Water Parade
Date: Sunday, March 16, 11:00 AM – 12:20 PM
Route: From Okinohata to Mihashira Shrine.
Highlights:
Children and mothers in elaborate costumes ride Donko boats.
A must-see moment, attracting crowds along the canals.
Rain Date: March 20 (Thu., hol.).

3. Floating Hina Festival
Date: Thursday, April 3, starting at 10:00 AM
Location: Moat in front of Suito Yanagawa (Yanagawa Civic Cultural Hall).
Event: Children set paper Hina dolls afloat on the moat with written wishes for happiness and health.
Grand Finale: Marks the end of the Hina Festival season.
