  1. Those Cherry Blossoms 🌸 look so beautiful there in Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵 I would love to visit soon!! I enjoyed the video, Amy, and thanks for sharing! ❤

  2. I'll be going to Kawazu next week for their early blooming cherry blossoms, hope my timing is good

  3. My question is, is it usually cold in Hokkiado in early/mid March? I checked the weather forecast and it says it will snow with -2 to +3 degrees. I didn't expect to have to go to Sapporo in a winter coat and hat in March. 😢

  4. I'm hoping to catch the cherry blossoms, but I'm afraid we're going too early (going in March) 😓. Do you have any more recommendations for plum blossom viewing? Ill try to go to Kawazu when we're there!

  5. Off-the-beaten-path spots are cool but I get a bit mad when people get snobby about popular spots and act like not going makes them superior, like it's popular for a reason

  6. I'll be staying right by Ueno Station in mid-April, so I'm excited for the possibility of having good timing in a perfect location. But even if it doesn't quite work out, I'll take it as it comes. 😊🌸

  7. Perfect Amy. We tried to plan our trip AFTER cherry blossoms to miss peak crowds but according to current forecast we will arrive during peak so now I am kind of excited about it. Looking to take a walk the evening after we arrive to a lighted area.
    I already bought the app!

  8. Oh wow, so beautiful. Some really good tips, thank you!!!! My travels have always been between Oct-Feb so i do not get to see them. Hoping i will one day. The stand outs for me would be to catch and see the Toden Arakawa line and hiring a rowboat in Chidorigafuchi. Also like the Motchi necklace. Thank you again.

  9. I did Sumida, Shiori and Ueno on 1st April last year was plenty of sakura tho a lot less dense than on this vid. The "Instagram tree" near the Skytree was threadbare I'd completely missed it! Was way more Sakura further south in Fukuoka a few days later – I guess people can go Sakura Chasing!

  10. So happy you didn't reveal my favourite hidden Sakura spot in Tokyo. 😃I actually have two. One pretty far out but still very accessible. And one small street in the central Tokyo. Hoping to go there again next spring maybe. Sakura spots are too overcrowded nowdays.. key is to go really early in the morning. But the light is not great if you want to take good photos.

  11. We're planning a trip for November and we're hoping to catch the Shikizakura in Aichi, do those get as busy as the main sakura season spots?

  12. It looks like I’m going to be about a week late for Tokyo, but maybe I’ll get lucky like last year and the forecast will keep getting pushed back

  13. Thanks for the tips! I'll be in Tokyo in early to mid-April and am hoping to catch some of the later-blooming cherry blossoms. Do you have any park recommendations for those?

  14. Last year I was on a layover in Tokyo and noticed a blossoming small tree around the 20th of January walking from shibuya to harajuku

  15. I agree 💯 about crowds in Japan, they usually ARE more bearable. I am autistic but my stress level is much lower when in Japan, even though places like Shibuya can be extremely crowded…

  16. Thank you for another amazing video, Amy ❤ We will be in Japan for the first time from March 17th until April 9th. I am a bit bummed because it looks like cherry blossom season will again be later than usual 😢 According to the app we will pretty much miss out on the full bloom everywhere we go 😢 I really wanted to see peak season. I hope we can still enjoy at least some cherry blossoms…. Although a friend of mine told me there is a huge difference between start of blooming and full bloom. I mean I knew this could happen but I hoped to nail it with the dates 😅 wish us luck please 🌸
