Virtual Scenic Flight 049: Hakone Ekiden Return Route, Japan
Hakone Ekiden consists of a round trip from Tokyo to Hakone. Flight 030 retraced the outward route (sections 1-5), and this time, we retraced the return route (sections 6-10) based on the course design of the 2025 event. Since the total distance is as distant as approximately 110 km, and the flight time is about 30 minutes.
Contrary to the outward route, this flight features a beautiful view down the mountain along the Hayakawa River, the distant landscape of central Tokyo, and the gradation of scenery from the natural surroundings to the urban view.
