This video shows you around the city center, where the Asahikawa Winter Festival 2025 and the World Ice Sculpture Competition 2025 were held.
Since this turned out to be a very long walk, this video covers the first half, showing the area from the station to the Shopping Street.
In the next video, I will introduce the winter festival site at the Asahibashi riverbank.

This year, a total of 36 ice sculptures were illuminated, decorating the heart of Asahikawa.
Early February is the best time to enjoy Asahikawa, as the city’s illuminations from the Christmas season continue, complemented by small snowmen scattered throughout the area.
