Kamenashi Kazuya will leave the agency when his contract expires on March 31st, while Ueda Tatsuya and Nakamaru Yuichi will continue their contracts with STARTO as individuals.

I know things had gotten quiet with them but I wasn’t expecting a disbandment. But on the other hand I can’t feel too surprised as the group hasn’t felt the same in a long while.

Holy smokes, really didn’t expect that! Couldn’t care less about Nakamaru and what happens to his solo career but I hope Ueda gets more opportunities now.
And Kamenashi leaving is surprising, though I guess it shouldn’t be since a lot of older artists have left already.

I was a big fan of the group in my early jpop days so this feels a bit weird cause they’ve been around for so long.
