Yeti Snow Resort is a charming ski resort located at the second station of Mount Fuji in Shizuoka Prefecture. It’s one of the earliest ski resorts to open each season, often around mid to late October with man-made snow2. Here are some highlights:

Location: Situated on the southern slope of Mount Fuji, it’s easily accessible from Gotemba Interchange (about 22 kilometers west).

Facilities: The resort features three lifts and four runs, with two main runs each about 1000 meters long, ideal for beginners. There’s also a small terrain park with jumps and rails, and a separate snow play area for kids2.

Season: Typically open from late October to late March, depending on snow conditions.

Access: You can reach Yeti by bus from Gotemba, Mishima, or Fuji stations, or by car (snow tires and winter driving skills are required).

Activities: Besides skiing and snowboarding, the resort offers activities like sledding and night skiing (though some runs are closed during night skiing).
