  1. She's a new ship; all of the squeaking and rattling will likely smooth out as she settles in.

  2. For a brand-new ferry, it was very creaky and rattly – that is crazy, almost as if they did not really take it out on the water and test it first. What a shame.

  3. If you had read "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" you would know that a towel is the most important item to pack for any journey 🙂

  4. I think he main reason the observation decks are so small is not because they prioritised cargo carrying capacity, but probably because LNG tanks take a lot of space, unlike the diesel of the old ships that can be fitted into small spaces around the hull and under the cargo spaces of the ship. All in all, a beautiful ship, and as much as they sacrificed the outside observation deck, you can always check out the views from the internal side windows/promenade.

    Great video as always Solo-san!

  5. Is this a Ghost Ship? I haven't seen or heared any other People in the Video…scary 👻👻👻

  6. I agree that you're right about how the bow reminds of sci-fi ships of various sorts. Like the Battlestar Galatica, also the ARK ships from the movie 2012, the TNG era shuttle craft, DS9 series Run-abouts and a few others from assorted movies and shows.

  7. I don't think I'll choose Sunflower when I visit. Which I believe is fine with Sunflower, I don't think they're making much money on the passenger-only side, it seems like they've dropped everyone to truck driver level on at least some of their routes. Thanks for making this known. Other than glimpses of the sun, it seemed like the only thing you enjoyed about the ship was getting off of it.

  8. Hmmm, an 18 hour journey with a cabin and no windows and crowded decks during the summer period ensures that I will NOT be using this ferry. The utterly useless waste of space such as the 'no shoes rest area' just means that there will tons of shoes in front of it on busy crossings. It is pointless. To be honest, despite the nice designs in the public areas, this is a bit of a disaster of a design. If it is cheaper, then maybe, but Sunflower is the most over-priced ferry in Japan so I doubt it. .

  9. "I've already decided what to eat" – if it didn't include curry we would all be VERY worried!
Keep up the fantastic videos 🙂

  10. It’s not like the other ferries, no grand entrance and staircase . Some of the ferries have looked really luxurious
Doesn’t seem to be many passengers and no crew !
